Parabolics

Most people probably don't know how to make a parabolic. Or what it is. A parabolic mirror focuses the sun’s energy into a tight condensed spot. It's kind of like a circular mirror, but is more precise, and concentrated. Higher temperatures can be reached.. Parabolics can be made into discs, or tubes. Discs are good for such things as smelting metals, cooking on high temperatures, or other undiscovered uses. Follows are plans on how to build your own parabolic hot dog cooker. The possibly ideal focuser is an old large TV satellite dish, which might be converted into a high-temp furnace. If there is interest on how to build a parabola, write and I will post directions.
