Nuclear Power

I absolutely support and endorse Nuclear Fusion. Our largest existing fusion reactor is about 93 million miles away. The energy is there, it’s free, it’s almost eternal: let’s use it! Fission nuclear power, on the other hand, is dangerous, very expensive, has long-lived wastes, and a myriad of other safety and disposal problems. And, reportedly, our reserves of Uranium may only last for another 50 years -- if that. No fission nukes. More fusion nukes. Fission power should only be the last resort of a truly desperate civilization. I don’t think we’re quite there yet.
